Legacy code modernisation

We update an older platform with tests and refactoring to improve its architecture and readability while preserving the agreed functionality.

What it involves

Modernising legacy code means improving the inner workings of a website or platform that has been running for some time, while preserving the behaviour the business needs. First we identify existing features and prepare tests to check them; then we refactor the code to make its architecture clearer, easier to maintain and ready to evolve.

  • Review of the platform and its current features
  • Creation of tests to record and verify behaviour
  • Gradual refactoring for architecture and readability
  • Validation of agreed functionality throughout the changes

A transparent process

You will speak directly with Jordi Morillo Sells. We share decisions and progress throughout the project, with clear priorities and next steps.

The final scope depends on your needs and the initial assessment. We do not offer hour packages.
